Design: Solid carbide cutter with new roughing-smoothing tooth
design and PLT coating. The new tooth design reduces the
cutting pressure considerably if compared to the conventional
smoothing cutter geometry. On the other hand there will be
hardly any marks compared to the roughing cutter tooth de-
L 1 sign. Thanks to the PLT coating the service life is much longer
and the friction at the same time minimized. The feed rate as
well as overall performance can thus be clearly increased.
