AKE climbs to the top of innovation:
TOP 100 award in 2024

TOP 100 has been recognising the most innovative companies in the German SME sector for over 30 years. It is a demanding innovation competition based on an independent, scientifically sound process. This award is correspondingly prestigious and the selection and application process to be among the best in the SME sector is just as complex.

In the 31st edition of the innovation competition, around 3,000 companies expressed their interest in taking part. AKE achieved the TOP 100 award in the largest category with over 200 employees and is therefore one of the Innovators of the Year 2024. This special award is another significant milestone for AKE and a continuation of the awards achieved so far in the areas of innovation and design. Back in 2013, AKE won 1st place in the Innovation category at the LIGNA trade fair with the revolutionary “SuperSilent” circular saw blade. This was later followed by the VR Innovation Award and the Red Dot: Honourable Mention, among others.

This time, the TOP 100 award does not refer to a specific product, but honours the innovative strength of the entire company. The “TOP 100” innovation award ceremony will take place on 28 June, 2024, in Weimar and will be presented by the renowned science journalist Ranga Yogeshwar. Alexander Knebel: “This is a great success that illustrates the positive development of recent years and which AKE can be proud of.”

The award is not only a recognition of past achievements, but also an incentive to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible and actively shaping progress in our industry.
