Wenn es um hochwertige Alu-Strangpressprofile geht, führt an Sapa kein Weg vorbei. Das Unternehmen ist Weltmarktführer bei
Entwicklung, Produktion und Vertrieb von hochwertigen Strangpress-Profilen, Bändern für Wärmetauscher, Bau-Komponenten und
ganzheitlichen Systemen aus Aluminium. Jüngst sorgte AKE bei Sapa für Furore mit außergewöhnlichen Leistungen.
Getreu dem Motto „Find the best“ wurden die effizientesten Anbieter von Sägeblättern gesucht. AKE setzte auf das Sägeblatt
Bombastic - für ein Maximum an Langlebigkeit und Effizienz.
Werksleiter Christian Blauensteiner zeigte sich positiv überrascht über die Leistungen von Bombastic: „Der Lerneffekt für uns war
beachtlich. Es ist eine Sache, was Anbieter in Prospekten behaupten und eine andere Sache, was dann im täglichen Einsatz pas-
siert. AKE hat nicht nur unsere Erwartungen in Bezug auf gratarmes Sägen übertroffen, sie haben vor allem im Bereich Service und
Flexibilität gepunktet. AKE hat in unserem Langzeittest ganz klar als Bester abgeschnitten.“
Die bisher eingesetzten Sägeblätter hielten zwei Wochen, d. h. zwei Mal im Monat Werkzeugwechsel. Die Standzeit des AKE-
Blattes war vier Mal so hoch. In der Folge gibt es nur jeden zweiten Monat einen Sägeblatttausch. Auf das Jahr gesehen also nur
sechs Stillstände, daher ein deutlich höherer Output.
„Für uns ein klares Ergebnis für AKE im Sinne von mehr Effektivität für Sapa“, freut sich Werksleiter Blauensteiner.

the development, production and sales of high quality extruded profiles, heat exchanger strips, building components and holistic
systems of aluminum. Recently AKE created a sensation at Sapa with extraordinary achievements.
According to the motto „Find the best“ the most efficient suppliers of saw blades were sought. AKE relied on the saw blade
Bombastic - for maximum durability and efficiency.
Plant manager Christian Blauensteiner was positively surprised by the achievements of Bombastic: “The learning effect was
remarkable. It is one thing, what suppliers assert in brochures, but quite another thing what is happening in daily use. AKE not only
exceeded our expectations in terms of low-burr sawing, they especially scored in the field of service and flexibility. AKE clearly came
out on top during our long-term test.“
The service life of the previously applied blades was approx. two weeks – tool change thus twice a month. The service life of the
AKE blade was four times as long. Consequently the saw blade is changed only every other month. If annualized there are only six
downtimes and thus a significantly higher output.
„For us, a clear result in favour of AKE – in terms of more efficiency for Sapa“, says plant manager Blauensteiner.
